Moodle E-learning Specialist (m/f/d)

Germany, Essen
Full-time
Permanent employee

Your mission

At myneva, we work on solutions that strengthen a meaningful and socially relevant sector: healthcare and social care. Our products and services help those who work in nursing, care and social care settings on a daily basis to make better use of digital processes and free up more time for actual care provision.
If you’d like to join us on our mission and LMS platforms are right up your street, then you’ve come to the right place. As a Moodle E-learning Specialist (m/f/d), you’ll create the platform infrastructure to ensure that this knowledge can be delivered in a structured, scalable and target-group-specific manner. You will design, manage and further develop the Moodle-based learning platform of the myneva Academy, ensuring that internal and external training programmes are delivered professionally, user-friendly and reliably. This role is ideal for you if you enjoy working at the interface between the learning platform, specialist departments, IT and external implementation partners, and if you want not only to administer digital learning processes but also to play an active part in shaping them.

Your tasks:
  • You will play an active role in shaping the LMS platform from the concept phase right through to go-live
  • You will administer and further develop the Moodle and Moodle Workplace environments
  • You will set up and maintain courses, learning paths, roles, user groups and client structures
  • You will implement training programmes within the LMS from both a technical and pedagogical perspective
  • You will manage user access, enrolments, certificates and reports
  • You will support the roll-out of B2B multi-tenancy, client areas and external training programmes
  • You will liaise closely with IT, Compliance, Product, Consulting, Sales and external implementation partners
  • You ensure the quality of course structures, learning content and the user experience
  • You produce reports on usage, participation, progress and completion rates
  • You contribute to the design and implementation of relevant interfaces with adjacent systems, particularly in the areas of user management, reporting, certification and commercial training processes
  • You document processes, standards and best practices for platform usage

Your profile

  • Experience in administering LMS systems, ideally Moodle or Moodle Workplace
  • An understanding of digital learning processes, course logic and user roles
  • A basic technical understanding of platform configuration, interfaces and reporting
  • Experience in supporting platform projects from the design phase through to implementation is an advantage
  • A structured, process-oriented and independent approach to work
  • Experience of collaborating with IT, specialist departments and external service providers
  • Proficiency in using learning platforms, Excel/reporting and documentation
  • Very good written and spoken German and good written and spoken English (minimum language level C1)
