Your mission
As a Software Engineer with a focus on Quality Assurance & Test Automation, you play a key role in ensuring the reliability, stability, and correctness of a new, strategically important web-based product within the myneva portfolio. Your primary responsibility is to help build quality into the product by designing and implementing effective automated testing strategies across frontend and backend components.
You work closely with software engineers, product management, and UX to ensure that functional and technical requirements are verifiable, testable, and sustainably maintained over time. In this role, you combine a strong engineering mindset with a passion for quality, automation, and continuous improvement — including the effective use of AI-supported tools in modern testing workflows.
 
Your Responsibilities
  • You design, implement, and maintain automated tests across frontend and backend components (unit, integration, and regression tests).
  • You implement automated API tests and contribute to contract testing where appropriate to ensure integration stability.
  • You contribute to test automation for web-based applications using modern technologies (React/TypeScript, .NET / C#).
  • You ensure automated tests are integrated into CI/CD pipelines and provide fast, reliable feedback.
  • You contribute to reliable test data management to keep automated tests stable and reproducible.
  • You analyze test results, identify failure patterns, and support root-cause analysis together with developers.
  • You use AI-assisted tools for test generation, maintenance, and analysis, while critically validating their outputs.
  • You collaborate closely with engineers, product management, and UX to ensure requirements are testable and quality risks are addressed early.
Your profile
  • You have solid professional experience as a Software Engineer or Quality Engineer with a strong focus on automated testing.
  • You have hands-on experience with test automation for web applications and APIs.
  • You have experience with modern test frameworks in web and .NET ecosystems (e.g., Playwright/Cypress, xUnit/NUnit, or comparable tools).
  • You understand how databases and data persistence influence test strategy and test stability.
  • You think in terms of quality, risk, and maintainability rather than manual test execution.
  • You have experience using AI-supported tools for testing and understand the need to validate AI-generated results.
  • You value clean code, maintainable test suites, and reliable automation.
  • You communicate confidently in English (C1 level); German skills are a plus.

Als Software Engineer mit Fokus auf Quality Assurance & Test Automation spielst du eine zentrale Rolle dabei, die Zuverlässigkeit, Stabilität und Korrektheit eines neuen, strategisch wichtigen webbasierten Produkts im myneva-Portfolio sicherzustellen. Deine Hauptaufgabe ist es, Qualität von Anfang an ins Produkt zu bauen – indem du wirksame automatisierte Teststrategien über Frontend- und Backend-Komponenten hinweg konzipierst und umsetzt.
Du arbeitest eng mit Software Engineers, Product Management und UX zusammen, damit funktionale und technische Anforderungen überprüfbar, testbar und langfristig nachhaltig gepflegt werden können. In dieser Rolle verbindest du ein starkes Engineering-Mindset mit einer Leidenschaft für Qualität, Automatisierung und kontinuierliche Verbesserung – inklusive des sinnvollen Einsatzes KI-gestützter Tools in modernen Testing-Workflows.

Deine Aufgaben
  • Du konzipierst, implementierst und pflegst automatisierte Tests über Frontend- und Backend-Komponenten hinweg (Unit-, Integrations- und Regressionstests).
  • Du implementierst automatisierte API-Tests und trägst – wo sinnvoll – zu Contract-Testing bei, um Integrationsstabilität sicherzustellen.
  • Du unterstützt die Testautomatisierung für webbasierte Anwendungen mit modernen Technologien (React/TypeScript, .NET / C#).
  • Du stellst sicher, dass automatisierte Tests in CI/CD-Pipelines integriert sind und schnelles, verlässliches Feedback liefern.
  • Du trägst zu einem zuverlässigen Testdaten-Management bei, damit automatisierte Tests stabil und reproduzierbar bleiben.
  • Du analysierst Testergebnisse, erkennst wiederkehrende Fehlerbilder und unterstützt gemeinsam mit Entwickler:innen die Ursachenanalyse.
  • Du nutzt KI-gestützte Tools zur Testgenerierung, Wartung und Analyse und validierst deren Ergebnisse kritisch.
  • Du arbeitest eng mit Engineering, Product Management und UX zusammen, damit Anforderungen testbar sind und Qualitätsrisiken früh adressiert werden.
Dein Profil
  • Du bringst fundierte Berufserfahrung als Software Engineer oder Quality Engineer mit – mit klarem Schwerpunkt auf automatisierten Tests.
  • Du hast praktische Erfahrung in der Testautomatisierung für Webanwendungen und APIs.
  • Du hast Erfahrung mit modernen Testframeworks im Web- und .NET-Ökosystem (z. B. Playwright/Cypress, xUnit/NUnit oder vergleichbare Tools).
  • Du verstehst, wie Datenbanken und Persistenz das Testvorgehen und die Teststabilität beeinflussen.
  • Du denkst in Qualität, Risiko und Wartbarkeit – nicht in manueller Testausführung.
  • Du hast Erfahrung mit KI-gestützten Tools im Testing und weißt, warum KI-Ergebnisse validiert werden müssen.
  • Du legst Wert auf sauberen Code, wartbare Test-Suites und zuverlässige Automatisierung.
  • Du kommunizierst sicher auf Englisch (C1); Deutschkenntnisse sind ein Plus.

Como Software Engineer com foco em Quality Assurance & Test Automation, você desempenha um papel fundamental na garantia da confiabilidade, estabilidade e correção de um novo produto web estrategicamente importante dentro do portfólio da myneva. Sua principal responsabilidade é ajudar a incorporar qualidade ao produto, projetando e implementando estratégias eficazes de testes automatizados em componentes frontend e backend.

Trabalha em estreita colaboração com engenheiros de software, gestão de produto e UX para garantir que os requisitos funcionais e técnicos sejam verificáveis, testáveis e mantidos de forma sustentável ao longo do tempo. Nesta função, combina forte mentalidade de engenharia com paixão por qualidade, automação e melhoria contínua — incluindo o uso eficaz de ferramentas assistidas por IA em fluxos de trabalho modernos de teste.

Responsabilidades:

  • Projetar, implementar e manter testes automatizados em componentes frontend e backend (testes unitários, de integração e de regressão).

  • Implementar testes automatizados de API e contribuir com testes de contrato, quando apropriado, para garantir a estabilidade da integração.

  • Contribuir para a automação de testes de aplicações web utilizando tecnologias modernas (React/TypeScript, .NET / C#).

  • Garantir que os testes automatizados estejam integrados aos pipelines CI/CD, proporcionando feedback rápido e confiável.

  • Contribuir para o gerenciamento confiável de dados de teste, mantendo os testes automatizados estáveis e reproduzíveis.

  • Analisar resultados de testes, identificar padrões de falhas e apoiar a análise de causa raiz junto aos desenvolvedores.

  • Utilizar ferramentas assistidas por IA para geração, manutenção e análise de testes, validando criticamente seus resultados.

  • Colaborar estreitamente com engenheiros, gestão de produto e UX para garantir que os requisitos sejam testáveis e os riscos de qualidade sejam abordados desde cedo.

Seu perfil

  • Possui sólida experiência profissional como Software Engineer ou Quality Engineer, com forte foco em testes automatizados.

  • Tem experiência prática em automação de testes para aplicações web e APIs.

  • Possui experiência com frameworks de teste modernos nos ecossistemas web e .NET (por exemplo, Playwright/Cypress, xUnit/NUnit ou ferramentas comparáveis).

  • Compreende como bancos de dados e persistência de dados influenciam a estratégia de testes e a estabilidade dos testes.

  • Pensa em termos de qualidade, risco e manutenibilidade, em vez de execução manual de testes.

  • Tem experiência no uso de ferramentas assistidas por IA para testes e entende a necessidade de validar os resultados gerados por IA.

  • Valoriza código limpo, suítes de teste manuteníveis e automação confiável.

  • Comunica-se com confiança em inglês (nível C1); conhecimentos de alemão são um diferencial.
