Senior DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

Your mission

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you play a central role in enabling reliable, scalable, and observable operation of a new, strategically important web-based product within the myneva portfolio. You work closely with development teams to ensure that software can be deployed, operated, and evolved efficiently across different environments and customer setups.
You act as the technical expert for containerization, deployment models, and operational architecture, helping teams make informed decisions around infrastructure, networking, hardware requirements, and runtime environments. In this role, you combine deep technical expertise with a strong enablement mindset, supporting development teams with tools, standards, and guidance — including the effective use of AI-supported tools in modern DevOps practices.

Your Responsibilities

You design and maintain container-based deployment setups using Docker and related technologies.
You define repeatable deployment and runtime models across cloud and hybrid environments.
You build and maintain deployment and environment automation to ensure reliable and auditable operations.
You support development teams with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release processes.
You design and improve observability solutions (monitoring, logging, tracing) for reliable operations.
You advise on infrastructure topics such as networking, security, hardware requirements, and scalability.
You collaborate closely with development and product teams to ensure operability is considered early.
You use AI-assisted tools to improve operational efficiency while critically validating their outputs.

Your profile

You have several years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure-related roles.
You have strong hands-on experience with Docker and container-based deployment models.
You have solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and operational best practices.
You have experience operating distributed systems across cloud and/or hybrid environments.
You understand infrastructure, networking, and security fundamentals.
You enjoy enabling development teams with standards, tooling, and guidance.
You have experience using AI-supported tools in operational contexts responsibly.
You communicate confidently in English (C1 level); German is an advantage.

Als Senior DevOps Engineer spielst du eine zentrale Rolle dabei, den zuverlässigen, skalierbaren und observierbaren Betrieb eines neuen, strategisch wichtigen webbasierten Produkts im myneva-Portfolio zu ermöglichen. Du arbeitest eng mit den Entwicklungsteams zusammen, um sicherzustellen, dass Software effizient über verschiedene Umgebungen und Kundenszenarien hinweg bereitgestellt, betrieben und weiterentwickelt werden kann.
Du agierst als technischer Experte für Containerisierung, Deployment-Modelle und Betriebsarchitektur und unterstützt Teams dabei, fundierte Entscheidungen in Bezug auf Infrastruktur, Networking, Hardware-Anforderungen und Laufzeitumgebungen zu treffen. In dieser Rolle verbindest du tiefes technisches Know-how mit einem starken Enablement-Mindset und befähigst Entwicklungsteams durch Tools, Standards und klare Leitlinien – inklusive des verantwortungsvollen Einsatzes KI-gestützter Tools in modernen DevOps-Praktiken.

Deine Aufgaben

Du konzipierst und betreibst containerbasierte Deployment-Setups mit Docker und verwandten Technologien.
Du definierst wiederholbare Deployment- und Laufzeitmodelle für Cloud- und Hybrid-Umgebungen.
Du baust und pflegst Automatisierungslösungen für Deployments und Umgebungen, um zuverlässige und nachvollziehbare Betriebsprozesse sicherzustellen.
Du unterstützt Entwicklungsteams bei CI/CD-Pipelines, Deployment-Automatisierung und Release-Prozessen.
Du konzipierst und verbesserst Observability-Lösungen (Monitoring, Logging, Tracing) für einen stabilen und transparenten Betrieb.
Du berätst zu Infrastrukturthemen wie Networking, Security, Hardware-Anforderungen und Skalierbarkeit.
Du arbeitest eng mit Entwicklung und Product Management zusammen, um Betriebsaspekte frühzeitig im Entwicklungsprozess zu berücksichtigen.
Du nutzt KI-gestützte Tools zur Steigerung der operativen Effizienz und validierst deren Ergebnisse kritisch.

Dein Profil

Du bringst mehrere Jahre Berufserfahrung im Bereich DevOps, Platform Engineering oder in infrastrukturlastigen Rollen in komplexen Softwareumgebungen mit.
Du hast fundierte praktische Erfahrung mit Docker und containerbasierten Deployment-Modellen.
Du verfügst über solide Kenntnisse in CI/CD-Pipelines, Deployment-Automatisierung und bewährten Betriebspraktiken.
Du hast Erfahrung im Betrieb verteilter Systeme in Cloud- und/oder Hybrid-Umgebungen.
Du verstehst grundlegende Infrastruktur-, Networking- und Security-Konzepte.
Du hast Freude daran, Entwicklungsteams durch Standards, Tools und Beratung zu befähigen.
Du hast Erfahrung im verantwortungsvollen Einsatz KI-gestützter Tools im operativen Kontext.
Du kommunizierst sicher auf Englisch (C1); Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil.

Como Senior DevOps Engineer, você desempenha um papel central na garantia de operação confiável, escalável e observável de um novo produto web estrategicamente importante dentro do portfólio da myneva. Trabalha em estreita colaboração com as equipes de desenvolvimento para garantir que o software possa ser implantado, operado e evoluído de forma eficiente em diferentes ambientes e configurações de clientes.

Atua como especialista técnico em containerização, modelos de deployment e arquitetura operacional, auxiliando as equipes a tomar decisões informadas sobre infraestrutura, redes, requisitos de hardware e ambientes de runtime. Nesta função, combina profundo conhecimento técnico com uma forte mentalidade de suporte, auxiliando as equipes de desenvolvimento com ferramentas, padrões e orientações — incluindo o uso eficaz de ferramentas apoiadas por IA em práticas modernas de DevOps.

Responsabilidades:

Projetar e manter setups de deployment baseados em containers utilizando Docker e tecnologias relacionadas.
Definir modelos de deployment e runtime repetíveis em ambientes de nuvem e híbridos.
Construir e manter automações de deployment e de ambientes para garantir operações confiáveis e auditáveis.
Apoiar equipes de desenvolvimento com pipelines CI/CD, automação de deployment e processos de release.
Projetar e aprimorar soluções de observabilidade (monitoramento, logging, tracing) para operações confiáveis.
Aconselhar sobre tópicos de infraestrutura, como redes, segurança, requisitos de hardware e escalabilidade.
Colaborar de perto com equipes de desenvolvimento e produto para garantir que a operabilidade seja considerada desde cedo.
Utilizar ferramentas assistidas por IA para melhorar a eficiência operacional, validando criticamente seus resultados.

Seu perfil

Possui vários anos de experiência em DevOps, engenharia de plataforma ou funções relacionadas à infraestrutura.
Tem forte experiência prática com Docker e modelos de deployment baseados em containers.
Possui sólido conhecimento de pipelines CI/CD, automação de deployment e melhores práticas operacionais.
Tem experiência na operação de sistemas distribuídos em ambientes de nuvem e/ou híbridos.
Compreende os fundamentos de infraestrutura, redes e segurança.
Gosta de capacitar equipes de desenvolvimento com padrões, ferramentas e orientações.
Tem experiência no uso responsável de ferramentas assistidas por IA em contextos operacionais.
Comunica-se com confiança em inglês (nível C1); conhecimentos de alemão são um diferencial.
