Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d) .Net

Your mission
As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be part of an agile product team working on the further development of a well-established .NET system – with a focus on maintenance, refactoring, and targeted modernization. Your contribution will be key in sustainably reducing technical debt while ensuring both stability and ongoing development.

Your responsibilities in detail:
  • Develop and enhance APIs for integration with other myneva products
  • Maintain and further develop an existing .NET product (backend-focused, WinForms frontend)
  • Gradually replace legacy code with modern architectures and components
  • Maintain and eventually phase out stored procedures (SQL Server)
  • Ensure code quality through code reviews, pair programming, and testing (unit tests, SpecFlow)
  • Work closely with support and customer teams to resolve technical challenges
  • Help shape and continuously improve our DevOps processes
  • Work iteratively in an agile, collaborative team with an open feedback culture
Technologies: C#, .NET Framework 4.8, .NET 6/8, MSSQL Server, Docker
Tools: Bitbucket, Bitbucket Pipelines, Jira, Confluence
Your profile
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in software development, ideally with a focus on C#/.NET
  • Experience working with mature codebases and complex systems
  • Strong command of Clean Code principles, refactoring, and testing practices
  • Excellent SQL skills, particularly in working with stored procedures
  • Experience with WinForms is a plus
  • Interest in DevOps and automation of build and deployment processes
  • Strong team spirit, great communication skills, and a willingness to share knowledge
  • Very good English and Portuguese language skills (C1)

Como engenheiro de software sénior, fará parte de uma equipa de produto ágil que trabalha no desenvolvimento de um sistema .NET bem estabelecido, com foco na manutenção, refatoração e modernização direcionada. A sua contribuição será fundamental para reduzir de forma sustentável a dívida técnica, garantindo estabilidade e desenvolvimento contínuo.

As suas responsabilidades em detalhe:
  • Desenvolver e melhorar APIs para integração com outros produtos myneva.
  • Manter e desenvolver ainda mais um produto .NET existente (focado no backend, frontend WinForms).
  • Substituir gradualmente o código legado por arquiteturas e componentes modernos.
  • Manter e, eventualmente, eliminar procedimentos armazenados (SQL Server).
  • Garantir a qualidade do código por meio de revisões de código, programação em pares e testes (testes de unidade, SpecFlow).
  • Trabalhar em estreita colaboração com as equipas de suporte e atendimento ao cliente para resolver desafios técnicos
  • Ajudar a moldar e melhorar continuamente os nossos processos de DevOps
  • Trabalhar iterativamente em uma equipa ágil e colaborativa, com uma cultura de feedback aberta

Seu perfil
  • Pelo menos 5 anos de experiência profissional em desenvolvimento de software, idealmente com foco em C#/.NET
  • Experiência de trabalho com bases de código maduras e sistemas complexos
  • Domínio sólido dos princípios de código limpo, refatoração e práticas de teste
  • Excelentes competências em SQL, particularmente no trabalho com procedimentos armazenados
  • Experiência com WinForms é uma vantagem
  • Interesse em DevOps e automação de processos de compilação e implementação
  • Forte espírito de equipa, excelentes competências de comunicação e vontade de partilhar conhecimentos
  • Muito boas competências em inglês e português (C1)
