Als Senior Software Engineer arbeitest du in einem agilen Produktteam an der Weiterentwicklung eines etablierten .NET-Systems – mit Fokus auf Wartung, Refactoring und gezielter Modernisierung.

Was dich erwartet:
Du steigst in ein Produkt ein, das sich aktuell in der technischen Transformation befindet – mit einem gewachsenen, komplexen Legacy-Code und einem modernen, modularen Zielbild. Dein Beitrag ist entscheidend, um technische Schulden nachhaltig abzubauen und gleichzeitig Stabilität und Weiterentwicklung sicherzustellen.

Deine Aufgaben im Detail:

Entwicklung und Erweiterung von APIs zur Integration mit anderen myneva-Produkten
Weiterentwicklung und Wartung eines bestehenden .NET-Produkts (Schwerpunkt Backend, WinForms-Frontend)
Schrittweise Ablösung von Legacy-Code durch moderne Architekturen und Komponenten
Pflege und langfristige Ablösung von Stored Procedures (SQL Server)
Sicherstellung der Code-Qualität durch Code Reviews, Pair Programming, Tests (Unit, SpecFlow)
Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Support- und Kundenteams zur Lösung technischer Herausforderungen
Mitgestaltung und Weiterentwicklung unserer DevOps-Prozesse
Iteratives Arbeiten in einem agilen, kollegialen Team mit offener Feedbackkultur
Technologien: C#, .NET Framework 4.8, .NET 6/8, MSSQL Server, Docker
Tools: Bitbucket, Bitbucket-Pipelines, Jira, Confluence

Dein Profil

Mindestens 10 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der Softwareentwicklung, idealerweise mit Fokus auf C#/.NET
Erfahrung in der Arbeit mit gewachsenen Codebasen und komplexen Systemen
Sicherer Umgang mit Clean Code, Refactoring und Testing-Prinzipien
Sehr gute SQL-Kenntnisse, insbesondere im Umgang mit Stored Procedures
Erfahrung mit WinForms ist ein Plus
Interesse an DevOps und Automatisierung von Build- und Deploymentprozessen
Teamgeist, Kommunikationsfreude und die Bereitschaft, Wissen zu teilen
Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse (C1+) sowie solide Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

Your mission

At myneva, we are shaping the future of care: with digital tools that use smart technology and AI to make everyday work in the care sector easier and more efficient. As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be part of an agile product team working on the further development of a well-established .NET system – with a focus on maintenance, refactoring, and targeted modernization.

What to expect:

You'll be joining a product that is currently undergoing a technical transformation – evolving from a complex legacy codebase to a modern, modular architecture. Your contribution will be key in sustainably reducing technical debt while ensuring both stability and ongoing development.

Your responsibilities in detail:

Develop and enhance APIs for integration with other myneva products
Maintain and further develop an existing .NET product (backend-focused, WinForms frontend)
Gradually replace legacy code with modern architectures and components
Maintain and eventually phase out stored procedures (SQL Server)
Ensure code quality through code reviews, pair programming, and testing (unit tests, SpecFlow)
Work closely with support and customer teams to resolve technical challenges
Help shape and continuously improve our DevOps processes
Work iteratively in an agile, collaborative team with an open feedback culture

Your profile

At least 10 years of professional experience in software development, ideally with a focus on C#/.NET
Experience working with mature codebases and complex systems
Strong command of Clean Code principles, refactoring, and testing practices
Excellent SQL skills, particularly in working with stored procedures
Experience with WinForms is a plus
Interest in DevOps and automation of build and deployment processes
Strong team spirit, great communication skills, and a willingness to share knowledge
Very good German skills (C1+) as well as solid written and spoken English
